Grandma's Secret Trick

Before she had a dishwasher, Grandma was very clever about finding ways to avoid dirtying a dish or bowl. She found that paper lunch bags were ideal for shaking coatings on to food. For this recipe, she put the granulated sugar into a paper bag, then added the chopped orange candy and shook the bag until the pieces were evenly coated. At cleanup time, she simply discarded the bag.
